Informational Paternity Test

Legal DNA Paternity testing can be used to determine if there is a biological relationship between two individuals. This is typically done by obtaining genetic material (DNA samples) from the two individuals via cheek swabs, then comparing these samples. 

A Paternity Test is used to determine if someone is the biological father of a child. It works by comparing the DNA of the alleged father to the DNA of the child. 

The results from a Legal DNA Paternity can be used for legal purposes. Examples of legal settings that may require this type of test include but are not limited to: 

• Adding or removing a father’s name from a child’s birth certificate
• Child support
• Adoption
• Child custody or visitation
• Immigration
• Medical, Social Security, or Military benefits
