Rapid Results DNA + Drug Testing's Diabetes Panel Screening combines two basic tests to provide a comprehensive assessment of blood sugar levels and may be used to assist in the diagnosis of diabetes or to monitor diabetes treatment.
The Diabetes Panel includes the Glucose test and the Hemoglobin A1C with eAGtest. Glucose is a measurement of fasting blood sugar.
Hb A1C provides a measure of average blood sugar over the last few months.
Together these tests can help determine if a person is at risk of having or developing diabetes. Please note that this test is not intended to diagnose a person who is diabetic. Test results should still be interpreted by a person's doctor.
